Matcha Tea Cup Decoration and Tasting:

  • Pot with Clare Waiteuna Valley Road Raglan New Zealand (map)

Popular Friday night social event.

Unlock a truly unique drinking experience by personalising your matcha tea cup with colored slips or carving techniques. Colored slips allow you to add your choice of natural or vibrant, durable hues to your cup’s surface, creating eye-catching patterns or meaningful designs that reflect your style. Alternatively, carving into the cup offers a tactile, artistic dimension—each groove and texture captures a handcrafted story that’s as individual as your taste in matcha. Combining these methods transforms a simple cup into a personal work of art, elevating every sip into a celebration of creativity and identity. Choose personalisation that speaks to you and make your matcha ritual unforgettable.

As we manipulate the clay, we’ll take a moment to infuse it with our winter intentions, crafting a vessel that will nourish your body and spirit throughout the colder months. This workshop is a beautiful blend of ritual, creativity, and self-care, perfect for the mindful soul.

This workshop is excellent for beginners, intermediates, and advanced students.
